One pickup, many drops: how multi-drop delivery cuts your costs

September 15, 20261 min read

Sending to several addresses from the same place? Book them together and every delivery costs less. Here's how it works.

If your deliveries start from the same place, such as your store, warehouse or office, booking them together is the simplest way to lower your cost per delivery.

What is multi-drop delivery?

One courier picks up all your items at once and delivers them to several addresses in one planned run. Because the courier makes one pickup instead of many, each delivery costs us less, and we pass the savings on.

How the discount works

The discount depends on how many drop-offs share the pickup:

  • 1 drop-off: regular price
  • 2 or more drop-offs: a discount on every stop in the pickup
  • The more drop-offs, the bigger the discount: 10% for 2 to 4 drop-offs, 15% for 5 to 9 and 20% for 10 or more

The discount is calculated automatically when you book. You see it on the price breakdown before you pay.

Who uses it

  • Online stores sending the day's local orders in one go
  • Print shops delivering finished jobs to several customers
  • Offices and clinics sending documents or supplies to multiple sites
  • Florists and gift shops with a batch of deliveries for the same day

Tips to get the most out of it

  1. Book once a day. Group your orders into one pickup instead of booking each as it comes in.
  2. Use Next-day for planned orders. It's our lowest price, and the multi-drop discount stacks on top.
  3. Upload a spreadsheet. Business accounts can book dozens of deliveries from one file.
  4. Save your addresses. Regular drop-offs in your address book make booking faster.

Every drop-off is tracked

Each delivery in the run gets its own tracking number and link, and each recipient gets their own updates and proof of delivery. Grouping saves money without losing any visibility.
